Is the Pope's website "well designed"? Sure some pages have decent graphics, but as a website it uses area maps and table layouts, tons of deprecated markup, and no CSS whatsoever that I can see. Not at all on par with any of the other sites listed above. I'd put the Chihuly site in the same category as the Pope's, except that it uses a smattering of CSS.
