WordPress, long known as one of the most popular blogging platforms, has turned into so much more. With the release of WordPress 3 “Thelonious”, the platform really steps into its own as a powerful content management system for writers, designers and everyone else to create or manage stunning, cutting-edge websites.
Most people prefer WordPress because it is not only is it easy to use, it’s totally free. You can host your WordPress blog on your own servers or use free hosting with WordPress.com. Either way, using WordPress to manage your website is easy—add pages, delete pages, schedule content, add functionality with plugins and connect to the WordPress community.
The first thing most WordPress users learn to do is change their theme. There are hundreds of free WordPress themes available to download as well as many premium WordPress themes with special features such as built-in SEO. Installing and customizing WordPress themes is your ticket to creating brilliant websites that are also user-friendly. Changes to WordPress in the last year make installing new themes easier than ever. For newbies, it’s a good idea to start with a WordPress tutorial on how to install a new WordPress theme or change an existing WordPress theme.
In fact, most users will get the most out of WordPress by using and learning from the many free WordPress tutorials available online. Finding useful WordPress tutorials on the web will show you to create stunning websites with this free platform, and even add unique features to make your website stand out.
Moreover, you can make your WordPress website accomplish even more things by adding some of the numerous WordPress plugins available—also for free or nearly free. There are literally hundreds of WordPress plugins that you can effectively put to use to create a highly user friendly website.
WordPress is a well-supported, open-source platform with a giving community of users. You can find a WordPress tutorial for just about anything. Whether you are completely new to blogging or a guru-in-training looking for advanced tips and WordPress support, you will find all the help you need in the WordPress support forums or one of the poppular WordPress-dedicated blogs. There are several WordPress tutorial forums where you wil find many of your questions already answered.
Gone are the days of having to hire an expensive programmer to get a custom content management system developed to manage your company website. Today you can find thousands of websites powered by WordPress. Even large websites like the New York Times, are installing WordPress to create professional quality websites in just few clicks.
Spend some time learning the WordPress basics and you’ll find that this platform can take your website way beyond blogging. With WordPress 3 finally released, now is the perfect the time to jump on the WP band wagon.

Yes you’re right…now I learn much more about wordpress. Thank for your post.
nice site. thank you. good stuff
Great article! Thanks for writing..
Love the article, and I have recently hopped on the WordPress bandwagon myself. A few years ago I hated WP but after learning the system, its really amazing.
I’ve been using WordPress for awhile, and most of my client sites are based on WordPress website customizations. Honestly, from a non-savvy standpoint it’s so much easier to learn.
nice nice nice.. thank you for the post..
I have many web clients, and I use Cool Template to manage WordPress themes for them all. It’s a free online service that lets you crank out an attractive theme in a couple minutes. The developer says that support for the new features in WordPress 3.0 are coming – the drag and drop menu system, changeable backgrounds, and page-specific header graphics are on their way.
One killer advantage of Cool Template is that if I need to make changes to all the templates (i.e., to support new features, add or change widget areas, etc…), I can change the custom export and use it for all the sites. Killer timesaver.
Monetizing websites, blogs, etc is a good way to earn some passive income.`”`
I’m not sure I could ever live without WordPress. I can’t even remember life before it!
It took me awhile, but I’m finally on the WordPress bandwagon. I don’t know why I didn’t get on earlier.
