One of the "galleries" out there that is not he same thing is inspirationfolder.com . This gallery offers a unique approach to the flooded inspiration market such as a place to store sites you like(no more bookmarking), a full color search and large(r) size images instead of just thumbnails. It also seems to accept any decent website which is good because Inspiration comes from all angles.

Its nice, I like the design.

But my only grudge is, why do ALL design galleries out there primarily *only* showcase design studio type sites?

I mean I have seen a ton of decent looking actual(content/interest based) css sites.

I have nothing against them, but its too easy to implement a sweet looking site based on css when you only have to worry about a few pages and more upscale browsers visiting you.
Getting the same to work on a wider internet audience is completely different and few sites accomplish this properly using just css.

If you could add more than just design studios, I may subscribe to your feed. For now, I'll just stick around here on tutorial blog.

But like I said, I do like how it looks. Just my 2 cents. Okay, maybe 4 but they're constructive cents.

This is very, very good gallery. There are other galleries on the net but they showcase the same sites over and over again. And it is hard to believe that among billions of websites around there are just handful of them worth visiting. Good job for now, I hope it will be good in the future :-)

Hello,
Just a quick ones: 1. search type is black - not readable 2. hover and active state of the paging - it's difficult to guess on which page i am located while browsing.
Cheers

How about no advertisement, ever, large pictures (i have seen this in maybe one or 2 other places), this has a design that doesn't have the feel at all like a normal showcase, or too many other sites for that reason, close to exact regular updates (once every 12 hours, and this has been happening since october, and looks to continue for quite a long time, and even maybe every 8 hours), i attempt to contact may websites as i can when i have the time, it isn't cluttered with things that people don't really look at or care.

It gives you what you need without needing to actually visit the site or be attacked by advertisements somewhere.

Chris - I see nothing new in GenuineStyle? The sites aren't even categorised in any way.
Care to point out what differentiates it ?
