Most of us professionals who write and design in CSS like to save time while accurately being able to create a web template, with little or no mistake. One method for saving time that I’ve adopted and use from time to time is the copy-paste-modify method. You can copy and paste from other previous templates and at the same time modify the copied material in order to fulfill your current needs. This is a very useful time saving method that is simple, and can be used by anyone with little or advanced experience with CSS.
I have compiled a list of websites that offer completely free customizable CSS templates. I have used and modified many of these templates on different for different sites, therefore I know how safe and easy it is to download them right to your computer. Enjoy!
(OnĀ FreeCSStemplates.org there are over 332 nifty CSS templates available to download for free in .zip.)
(Free-CSS-Templates.com offers about 15 pages and over 219 free templates, for your use at anytime!)
FreeWebTemplates.com offers over 4200 free templates! They have designs from around the world and have available flash templates as well)
(FreeCssTemlates.com has 36 color templates, the quantity may not be as much as the others. However, these templates carry the quality you need for many of your CSS design needs)
(CSScreme.com offers several free templates as well as premium templates of better quality for a reasonable price. This site also offers news.)
(TemplateWorld.com an XHTML/CSS site offers pretty nice templates for free that you’re able to download, however if you wish to take a peak at the source code you will have to email them for it.)
(DreamTemplate.com offers 3000+ very unique multipurpose templates, however they are not technically free until you pay a “Free Membership” subscription fee valid for one full year)
(Free-CSS.com not only gives you the option of getting free CSS templates however, you can get free menus, layouts, articles, resources, references, and more!)
