I came across this excellent free Egyptian font today, named Mido. It’s a simple slab-serif font design that can be used in all sorts of design work where a touch of elegance is needed.
Mido is created by Eva Grinder at Konstfack, Stockholm 2007. The font is available in opentype format and free to download. What are you waiting for? Go grab it …
Nowadays selection of best web hosting company for new webmasters has become a big problem. Though many companies are offering the services but most of these are working as reseller hosting which have no worth of their backups. While selecting the company webmasters need to check their features like PPC advertising and especially the free service of rank analyzer. Webmasters having basic knowledge like a+ certification can easily check the worth and features of their desired host.

Thanks for the heads-up, Oli.
Looks like a nice one.
errr… egyptian fonts are usually hieroglyphs. this one’s an egyptienne (=serif) font.
This doesn’t seem very Egyptian… plus it doesn’t have any of these characters: #$%^+=\| . Maybe more. I hate it when that happens!
Next time, you should mention that the font is missing quite a few important characters even if the entire alphabet is there, and also say that this is only a test font (which it is…) since we have to wait until 2008 sometime to get the whole thing.
Beautiful little font. Fair enough that it doesn’t come with everything yet, but it’s free – You can’t really complain.

Is there a reason not to have your links open in a new window?
I’ve been following links from your site and losing your site, I wondered if maybe there was a SEO reason for it.
