Following on from our free fonts roundup, Urban Fonts provides you with over 8,000 Free fonts and dingbats in PC and Mac format.

Another section of the site that could come in handy is the free dingbats section, download loads of free vector shapes that you can incorporate into your designs.

Overall the site is cleanly laid out and easy to navigate with categorised sections and also a tag cloud to help you find your way round. The standard of the fonts overall are not of the highest quality, you really have to hunt through to find something of a higher standard but with over 8,000 free fonts you should find something usable.

If the free fonts are not to your liking the site also has a huge commercial fonts archive with the same categories as the free fonts section. The site also includes a blog with some interesting histories of various fonts such as Futura and Helvetica.
