Don’t forget Pligg.com. Pligg is an open source Web2.0 social / collaboration CMS. It is based on the Digg design, and allows anyone with a web page and MySQL to set up their own community.
Whereas Digg and Netscape are huge communities of unrelated subjects, sites built on Pligg are more personalised and get back to the traditions of smaller active communities.
