		<description>One solution I have worked on, perhaps not perfect, is to have a simple index that lets the user identify what kind of visitor they are. From then one ne-er the twain shall meet. Each branch of the site is tailored to the user, and shared content comes from shared code, so really its efficient in practice.

The only real downside is if a search engine drops them into the wrong half of the site.</description>

What has worked best for me is to set the site up for consumers with a Wholesale Login in several places - Main Menu, Graphic Body link and a footer link. 

B2B buyers don&#039;t typically care for the consumer &#039;fluff&#039;. They want to go directly to their needs - order product, check orders, find new announcements. Most of the B2B users want a simple easy-to-use interface that is quick.</description>
